After weeks of no one in the world dying, a freak occurrence happens this week when someone passes away – right in front of Jack, who had thought he was the only mortal person left on the planet!
In fact, the frail, elderly man is Jack’s former lover Angelo and his passing away gives the Torchwood hero quite a few clues about the origins of the mysterious Miracle events and the involvement of three secretive families.
While investigating Angelo’s huge mansion, Jack, Rex, and Esther are met by the CIA and they join forces to find out why Angelo died. They find an alien technology under the floorboards that could somehow be at work, but will it lead them to the masterminds - the three families?
Meanwhile, Gwen causes so much trouble with the CIA she is deported back to Wales, but at least she’ll see her family again...
