Emily promises more nudity in funnier Inbetweeners

Inbetweeners star Emily Head has revealed the boys will again be getting naked in the new series of the show.

The hit E4 comedy stars Simon Bird, Joe Thomas, James Buckley and Blake Harrison as four friends at school, and Emily plays classmate Carli, the object of Joe's character's affections, who has an older boyfriend.

Asked if romance was on the cards in the new series, Emily revealed: "How much romance can there be with those four boys, really? There's going to be a lot of swearing, as always, a bit of the boys getting naked, again, always fun, and pretty much the same that we've had before, but funnier I think - I think this series is definitely funnier."

The 21-year-old daughter of Merlin star Anthony Head insists she and co-star Emily Atack hold their own on such a testosterone-fuelled set.

She laughed: "We're alright, we do OK. They're more gentlemanly than you would think - some of them anyway."

Emily said she hoped the third series of Inbetweeners isn't the last.

She said: "It kind of depends how long they want to have a span of the series. I'd like to think we've got another one in us, but it may be the end, we're not sure."
