James Corden: 'Becks is like Johnny Depp!'

James Corden has revealed what it was like working with sporting heroes David Beckham, Jenson Button and Wayne Rooney for a Sport Relief sketch.

The Gavin And Stacey star, who gets to share a bubble bath with footballer David, reckoned the sports stars were naturals when it came to acting.

"It's a straight shootout between them for who was the most natural actor, it really was - Jenson is like an action hero, he is like a Tom Cruise in the sketch; David is more of a thinking man's actor, he's like a Johnny Depp... he can find the comedy and the serious," he told the Sun.

England striker Wayne takes the starring role in the sketch, which left James slightly starstruck.

"He is a Gavin And Stacey fan - I was so chuffed when he walked into the room because I didn't know he was coming," he added.

"You feel like you are meeting the best footballer in the country at the moment, if not the best in the world. I felt so honoured to be in his company."

Sport Relief kicks off on BBC One at 7pm on Friday night.
