Katie Price to launch charity
05/07/2009 - 09:34

Reality TV star Katie Price is set to launch her own charitable foundation, according to the Sunday Mirror.
The paper reports that Price, aka Jordan, will announce plans for the Katie Price Foundation - which she is said to be launching in a bid to improve her image.
She is said to be shocked by the negative publicity she has received following her split from husband Peter Andre. The pair met on the set of I'm A Celebrity....Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004.
The charity will reportedly focus on helping sick and disabled children to enjoy a better quality of life. Price's oldest son Harvey has suffered health and learning difficulties, and has been partially blind since birth.
"Harvey’s condition has caused her years of pain and she understands the struggle parents go through with a disabled child," a source told the paper.
"She wants to help other parents like her who are less fortunate."
