Matt Di Angelo set to get Hustled

EastEnders fans will be delighted when former Walford hunk Matt Di Angelo returns to our screens in the new series of Hustle.

Matt, who quit as the soap's Deano Wicks in 2008, will appear alongside Holby City actress Kelly Adams, who played Mickie in the medical drama.

They play Sara Naismith and her assistant, Aaron, who have made a killing in dubious property deals and are benefiting from recession and repossessions.

They bribe, batter and bully to ensure they get their own way. Keen to make a quick buck on the stock exchange, the duo have no qualms about investing their million-pound fortune.

But they fall prey to Mickey (Adrian Lester), who has returned to his old stomping round, while former comrades Danny and Stacey are living the high life in America.

Will Mickey be able to swindle Sara and Aaron out of their much-loved loot?

Matt was last seen on Strictly Come Dancing 2007, where he came second to Alesha Dixon in the final.

Find out as the new series of Hustle starts on BBC One on Thursday January 8.
