Smithy and Becks get pampered

David Beckham and James Corden's Gavin And Stacey character Smithy are spotted enjoying some pamper time in a new Sports Relief sketch.

Smithy coaches a series of top stars including Andy Murray, Tom Daley, Jenson Button and the Manchester United squad featuring Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand.

And after his hard work, Smithy - who has previously given Becks and the rest of the England football team a dressing down - takes a well-earned break, for a night in with the image-conscious star.

Away from the prying eyes of Victoria and Nessa, the boys indulge in a spot of preening and are seen wearing fluffy robes.

It is part of the Sport Relief programmes which kick off on BBC One at 7pm on Friday night.

The night will include a host of one-off Sport Relief specials, including Ashes To Ashes, Mock The Week, Question Of Sport Relief and MasterChef.

There will also be musical performances from the likes of Robbie Williams and JLS. It will also feature the first UK TV appearance from Cheryl Cole since she announced she was splitting from husband Ashley.

Olympic stars such as Daley Thompson and Jonathan Edwards are hoping to win with their singing after teaming up with TV's The Choir guru Gareth Malone. They will perform a choral rendition of Elvis Presley's classic Always On My Mind live on the show after being put through their paces by Malone.

The recent heroic sporting challenges by Eddie Izzard, Helen Skelton, Christine Bleakley, Lawrence Dallaglio and celebrity cyclists led by David Walliams will also be screened.
