Trinny Woodall and husband separate

Trinny Woodall is apparently divorcing her husband after nine years of marriage.

The 44-year-old TV fashion expert confirmed she had split from businessman Johnny Elichaoff, 48, according to The Daily Mail.

A spokesman for Trinny told the newspaper: "We can confirm that the couple have sadly decided to separate. For the sake of their children, they ask that their privacy is respected at this time."

The What Not To Wear presenter will continue to live in the couple's two million pound home in London's Notting Hill with their four-year-old daughter Lyla and Zak, her husband's son from a previous relationship. Johnny is reportedly planning to move out within weeks.

It is claimed the couple split after a string of arguments about Trinny's extensive work load. The fashion guru - a former alcoholic - sparked rumours of marital troubles earlier this year when she began appearing at fashion events without her wedding ring.

It is claimed the couple's relationship difficulties began four months ago and that they sought marriage counselling.
