A man who admitted to killing 300 girls is the only person to have driven Ross Kemp to the very limit of his tolerance

Ross Kemp has met all manner of people in five series of his hard-hitting documentary Extreme World, but there is only man who pushed his buttons so hard that he had to end the interview before he killed him.

The ex EastEnders star told This Morning: “Over the series it’s been really hard and the hardest for me was in India when I met someone who was trafficking young girls for sex.

“And he on camera, and I didn’t know he was going to do it, admitted to killing around 300 of them.

“My translator heard it first and started crying, then he started crying and I got so angry because he started feeling sorry for himself.

“I don’t mind meeting bad people and interviewing them, but when they start feeling sorry for themselves and the things that they do. That was the only time I really nearly lost it.”

Ross admitted that his chances of escaping probably wouldn’t have been high if he did act on his urges due to the trafficker’s armed guards.

He said: “I terminated the interview and said get him out of my sight before I kill him. He had armed guys with him so I probably wasn’t going to get way with doing that.”

Now into his sixth series of Sky 1’s Extreme World (returns on Sunday, July 9), Ross has travelled to many of the world’s most dangerous environments, such as Syria, Iraq and Mexico.

In the latest series, which starts on Sunday, Ross finds himself in the middle of a race riot in Texas just after Donald Trump won the presidential election.

Ross explained: “Trump had just won the election. It was an odd situation. I was with the white racist power organisation. I was called a Nazi and had bottles thrown at me. I was called a pig.

“When I started interviewing the anti-demonstrators I was called a journalist f**. Demonstrators on both sides were carrying assault rifles…”
