It’s a traumatic week for Kat and Alfie as they get ready for the funeral of their baby son, Tommy, little realising that he is alive and being looked after by Ronnie!
Following a row between Kat and Ronnie, Alfie heads off to find Ronnie and apologise for his wife’s outburst
Ronnie takes the opportunity to ask Alfie if she can attend ‘Tommy’s’ funeral. He agrees, but later tells her it would be for the best if she stayed away
On the day of the funeral, heartbroken Kat has to be consoled by Alfie before she feels able to enter the church with the tiny coffin, which she thinks holds Tommy’s body
Unnoticed by mourners, guilt-stricken Ronnie gazes silently at the grave. Will she finally come clean to Kat and admit that she swapped their babies, and that it is her own dead baby son, James, who is being laid to rest?
Following the service, depressed Kat withdraws further into herself. Concerned, Charlie tries to get her to open up about her feelings
But Kat reacts with anger and makes some painful accusations. Hurt, Charlie reaches a dramatic decision about his future. What will he do? Follow the drama on EastEnders on BBC1 from Monday, January 10
