Fans bowled over by voice of Isobel Steele, who plays Liv Flaherty
Isobel Steele is known to soap fans as Liv Flaherty in Emmerdale, but as well as acting she’s also a very talented singer.
She recently posted a video of her singing, commenting, “This is a live take of a song I wrote a few months ago.”
And people were bowled over by her voice, with one writing about Isobel singing her own song, Half of It: “Well, this is a revelation. Not only are you a talented actor (as the awards have already proven) but a multi talented entertainer also.”
Another commented: “Honestly, I’m still in awe, it’s not often I come across a voice this unique and beautiful.”
One person thought it was time Isobel went on Britain’s Got Talent, while another wrote: “Absolutely insane!! I think this is my 11th time listening to this today? stunning song, stunning voice.”
17-year-old Isobel has also posted a video of her cover of Japanese Denim by Daneil Caesar.
Meanwhile, as revealed in our Emmerdale spring preview, there are dark days ahead for her character Liv. It all stems from a “prank” with best mate Gabby that spirals out of control and lands the teenager in serious trouble. With her future looking bleak, Liv turns to drink to blot out her pain.
Show boss Iain MacLeod told us: “Isobel Steele – who plays Liv – is super talented and a rare find, and we will be exploring the limits of her acting talents to the extreme.
“Her storyline is going to be quite big and dark in places, but I have no doubt that she will smash it.”
