The staff of a swanky New York apartment block are left penniless when a resident makes off with their retirement fund. Alan Alda is the rich bad guy and Ben Stiller is the building manager who plots revenge, gathering a motley gang including his concierge brother-in-law Casey Affleck, naive bellhop Michael Peña, unemployed financier Matthew Broderick and motor-mouthed thief Eddie Murphy. Téa Leoni is the FBI agent breathing down their necks and Steve McQueen’s old red Ferrari also has a crucial part to play. Leave your brain in neutral and there is much to enjoy in this larky, well-played caper.
