How we humans love our cars. Though they kill us in shocking accidents and poison the air we breathe, we treat them like a cross between a favourite child and a home from home.
That’s all about to change, though, as the era of the driverless car is upon us.
There’ll be no interacting with these green machines. We’ll just get in there, tell them where we want to go then sit there as they ferry us noiselessly to our destination.
But, as Horizon’s Teena Gade asks, is the artificial intelligence that drives these vehicles really up to snuff?
