Today’s FA Cup quarter-final is the ultimate Goliath peering down at little David, as Premier League big boys Arsenal invite non-Football League team Lincoln City to the Emirates (kick-off 5.30pm).

You have to go back all the way to 1914 for a team out of the Leagues to make it this far in the competition (it was Queens Park Rangers, in case you were wondering) and it will be fascinating to see how Lincoln will fare in such a vast stadium against the silky skills of players like Theo Walcott and Alexis Sánchez, should they be selected.

Are we about to witness the greatest giant-killing in football history?
