Gino D’Acampo goes on a coastal journey through his homeland.
What a tough job Gino has! In this new series, the lucky chef is travelling along the spectacular Italian coast, learning about its history and culture, and most importantly, of course, sampling and cooking some delicious food along the way.
He begins his adventure on the Amalfi Coast, visiting its most picturesque town, Positano. Here, Gino prepares a simple Caprese salad made with tomatoes, basil, mozzarella and olive oil.
He also drops in on the little town of Minori, which is famous as the birthplace of fresh pasta, and, finally, goes anchovy fishing off the coast of Cetara – another beautiful small town – where he cooks a tuna tartare with anchovy dripping.
