It’s the semi-finals already and our four remaining bakers hope to prove they are the crème of the crop as they face an old-time tent favourite – Patisserie Week.

With the standard of bakes so high this year, judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith have, er, kindly decided to set them three of the most demanding tasks in Bake Off history, starting with mastering those tricky choux buns for their signature challenge and ending with a meringue sculpture showstopper to decide who gets Star Baker.

Now we’ve got to know the amateur bakers, we don’t want anyone to leave.

But who’ll crumble under the pressure and narrowly miss out on a coveted place in next week’s final showdown?
