After being thrown together in last week’s bomb blast and kissing each other, the atmosphere’s certainly tense between doctors Zosia March and Oliver Valentine. So they’re quite happy to focus on their work, treating the casualties of the explosion. Zosia can’t forget about what happened, though, and later that day, she comes clean to boyfriend Seb that she kissed Ollie. With that, Seb goes to confront Ollie and makes him question if he’s the man who can really give Zosia the stability she needs…

Later, having not spoken to Ollie all day about that kiss, Zosia finally plucks up the courage to ask him what’s going on between them. But when Ollie noticeably backs off, she’s left hurt by his reaction. Feeling rejected, Zosia realises she might be better off without either Seb or Ollie in her life…

Meanwhile, Arthur’s struggling to cope with his anxiety following the blast. Feeling desperate, the doc pockets some meds from the drugs trolley to calm his nerves… and gets rumbled by fellow doctor Morven. When Arthur makes a mistake with a patient, he blames his error on Morven. AAU boss Serena assumes she’s shaken up after the explosion and sends her home.

Later, wracked with guilt, Arthur admits to Holby CEO Hanssen that he’s been struggling with his anxiety and has been self-medicating. As he leaves, Arthur’s certain his career is over…

Also, Sacha’s world is thrown into turmoil when Fran, an old nursing friend of Essie, turns up on Keller as an agency nurse. Fran’s full of tales about their ‘wild’ past, leaving Sacha wondering if he’s enough for Essie.
