Six weeks and 2,800 miles in, the crew faces an epic last leg of their gripping journey before reaching the final destination.

‘They think they’re out of the woods,’ says cameraman Dan, one of the remaining seven following in the wake of Captain Bligh. ‘But we’re about to embark on 1,200 miles of open ocean with a bunch of emaciated guys and no proper hydration or nutrition. If that’s not dangerous, I don’t know what is.’

Nonetheless, competitive round-the-world sailor Conrad is keen to beat Bligh’s 10-day crossing from Albany to Timor.
