Do we believe Paul (played to perfection by Robbie Coltrane)? His long-suffering wife, Marie, is clearly beginning to have her doubts, as seven women, including their old babysitter, make accusations against him. Paul’s hotshot lawyer tells him that now is the time to be honest about his past, so he is ready and armed with a defence if the case goes to court.

This excellent drama continues to drip-feed us little nuggets about Paul, which reveal what a deeply flawed individual he is. But is he capable of the hideous crimes he’s been accused of? His daughter, Dee, finds herself trying to dig into her childhood memories to find the truth.

Coltrane and Julie Walters are an incredible acting force in this enthralling story.
