It’s touch and go whether Sam Warburton will be leading out the British & Irish Lions into the first Test against the All Blacks today (kick-off 8.35am), even though he’s now officially fit.

There have been rumblings of discontent about the playing style of the Lions by their more attack-minded opponents, but the fact that the Lions achieved a fine result against the Crusaders, who have one of the most lethal attacks in Super Rugby, has shown there really is more than one way to skin a cat.

England’s Owen Farrell had an excellent game: even though he was forced to move positions 30 minutes into the game, his kicking and distribution were deciding factors.

Will that be the case against the mighty All Blacks, though?
