The ladies of Litchfield Penitentiary return for a fifth series, which picks up exactly where we left off at the end of the fourth series – smack-bang in the middle of a riot triggered by Poussey’s tragic death.

Daya is pointing a gun at hateful prison guard Humphrey, with everyone screaming at her to shoot, while Taystee and her gang storm Caputo’s office and demand that he tells the truth about her friend’s murder.

The entire series is available to see from today and takes place over the course of just three days, which makes it an intense watch for binge viewers.

And if the highly charged opener is anything to go by, it looks like we’re in for a hair-raising and emotional 13 episodes.
