Alex Polizzi follows six new hoteliers as they realise their dream of setting up their own business.

First up, teachers Aine and Anthony have sold their family home in Brighton and purchased a rundown Victorian mansion in the Orkney Isles for £300,000.

They arrive in December and have just four months to convert the former care home into a luxury guest house.

The couple, along with son Dylan, 19, get stuck into the renovations, despite the issues of damp and a leaking roof.

Meanwhile Gerry, eight, is the family’s cutest ambassador, exclaiming: ‘You can get wi-fi and see puffins here!’
