In the space of one short week, Gordon Ramsay has taken back his crown as the angriest Ramsay on TV, following recent dramatic events in Game of Thrones. As the shouty chef continues his tour of America’s struggling hotels this week, he rocks up in Southbridge, Massachusetts, where he stays at the Vienna Historic Inn. Anyone who has seen Ramsay’s Hotel Hell before will know that the historic inn is a peculiarly American establishment, offering vintage, boutique accommodation. Sadly, the owners of historic inns often seem to cling on to the past, to the detriment of the hotels’ futures. And so it is with Vienna owners Jonathan and Lisa Krach, whose Austrian-themed inn has acquired a bit of a reputation among locals.
