After giving birth prematurely in a graveyard last week you’d think nurse Robyn Miller would be due a break. But testing tragedies keep coming her way in this week’s Casualty…

At first Robyn (Amanda Henderson) puts on a brave face as her daughter starts life in neonatal intensive care. But Robyn’s mask begins to slip as baby Charlotte – Charlie for short, after nurse Charlie Fairhead – develops an infection.

It’s a terrible time and when Robyn learns her former friend David has phoned the ward to check on mother and baby, she’s filled with sudden anger. In fact, she’s determined to march up to the psych ward and give David what for. Can anyone calm her down?

Later, seeing how distressed and alone Robyn is, Duffy asks Robyn and Charlotte to live with her and new husband Charlie. Yet Charlie’s gloomy reaction to Duffy’s invitation threatens to drive a wedge between the newlyweds! Sensing she’s not wanted, exhausted Robyn feels like giving up…

Then the tiny newborn’s condition worsens and she needs risky surgery! Will defeated Robyn be there as Charlotte fights for her life? Or will it prove too much for the young nurse, who’s at breaking point?
