On 25 January 2011, the Smith family from Surrey received devastating news. Their four-year-old son Harrison was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
There seemed to be no way of stopping this incurable life-limiting disease taking Harrison from his family. But that wasn’t good enough for his dad, Alex. He gave up his job and dedicated himself to fundraising for more research.
This inspiring and beautiful film follows the family as Alex undertakes a triathlon while carrying eight-year-old Harrison the whole 141 miles. A truly remarkable family; an extraordinary story of love and determination.
