In this lovely two-parter, a mix of travelogue and cookery show, last year’s Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain returns to her family’s roots in Bangladesh to try some recipes inspired by local cuisine.

Her enthusiasm and joy is infectious as she catches up with relatives and makes red pumpkin cake for her cousin’s pre-wedding party, with help from a local baker who has the only oven big enough!

Nads uses another cousin’s outside kitchen to prepare fish with mango chutney, and before she leaves her family’s village to continue her adventure, she and her mum make a goodbye snack for everyone.
