Prepare for a tearjerker… This sentimental US drama about family presses all the right emotional buttons – sappy music, kindly old doctor, a man who was abandoned at birth…

The central premise is the fact (well, according to Wikipedia) that each person shares their birthday with more than 18 million other people.

And so we are introduced to a couple about to have triplets, twins facing a mid-life crisis on their 36th birthday, and a man (The People v. OJ Simpson’s Sterling K. Hayden) looking for his biological father.

At its heart is a beautiful story about birth, death and the love that binds families.
