Jesse Eisenberg cast in The Double

Jesse Eisenberg is set to star in The Double.
The award-winning star of The Social Network was first linked to the film adaptation of Fyodor Dostoyevsky's novella last year and it seems he has now signed up.
Alice In Wonderland actress Mia Wasikowska has also joined the cast, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Double is about a Russian government clerk whose life is turned upside down when a man who looks just like him, with the same name and from the same hometown, gets a job in his office and he believes him to be a copy of himself.
The film is being directed by The IT Crowd's Richard Ayoade, who wrote the script with Avi Korine.
The project was co-developed with and will be co-financed by Film4.
Tessa Ross, head of film and drama at Channel 4, said: "With Jesse and Mia now on board, it promises to be a wonderful journey."
Shooting is set to start in the UK this year.
