the one thing that annoys me is how they put previews in between the break of the program you are about to watch! :(
anyone else have any pet hates on the tv?

I like the Previews, at the end of the advert breaks.
When I'm watching something on tape, I always press Fast Forward (on my VCR remote control) when the adverts start -then when the Preview for another program arrives I know that the adverts are done and my program is going to start again:D

Yeah i use to do that, but with ITV now they have started putting adverts of programmes in the middle of the adverts from the show, so you think the programme is nearly starting again but infact, it's not and they show more.

The ITV do like to swap things round on us, don't they!
I expect they're just trying to keep us on our toes -or should that be our bums!:D

Saturday nights are only saved (for me) by Casualty and the football on Match Of The Day -otherwise a DVD film would be needed to fill the void;)

oh yes this is so stupid and also when they put adverts in a program after the first 8 mins and before the last 8 mins of program it is so annoying

Yeah alot of shows are like that, i know the oc is. As the boxsets state that each epsiode is only 42 mins long when it's ment to be 60 mins.

Of course the Adverts are there to raise money to run the commercial TV stations; pay for programming, (sponsors) the news readers.. etc, so we'll never see an end to them.
The BBC, I can see, are likely to adopt some form of advertising, when the licence fee (a few years away) is scrapped -everybody has a moan about paying for the licence, but it does cover everything that the BBC do.

The licence fee costs TOO much. If it didnt keep goin up pe3ople wouldnt be so antsy it. And i still think theres TOO many staff at the Beeb and they pay Wossy and Wogan WAY too much.
Sorry 2moan:mad:
