I found holes in this Piano trick.. like the fact that she (the subject) had played the Piano when younger.

I'm very suspicious of Derren Browns abilities, as he relies on the gullibility of the public, to get his rewards.

I was dissapointed to learn that she had played the piano before as well.

I do believe he relies on people gullibility but that is why I like him, especially when he is showing people how easy it is be lead to believe something. Take mediums for instants he proves what a bunch of fakes they all are by reading people and showing that anyone can tell you that is it a dead relative.

I think you are missing the point of the piano trick.

This girl wrote in and said she played the piano from a young age but lost the feeling she used to get and now found it really boring.

Derren made her forget completly that she could play the piano and was an excellent player to give her the chance to re-discover her love for it.

The trick was making her forget she knew how to play and brining it back on that night how to play the music but still not remember the past when she was young.
