The killer of Home and Away‘s tearaway teen Stu Henderson has been revealed on screen in Australia.

Alf Stewart, played by Ray Meagher, found Stu (Brenton Thwaites) lying dead in the caravan park in Summer Bay, sparking a murder mystery.

Stu was previously attacked by Sid Bezmel, for violently abusing his daughter Sasha Bezmel (Demi Harman), making him the top suspect.

Now Sasha has confessed all in the latest episode of the soap to air Down Under, in emotional scenes with her father.

The troubled student was overcome with guilt after Stu’s father Alan lashed out at Sid, wrongly suspecting that he was the killer.

Sid had confided in Sasha, saying he was worried even his own children didn’t believe he was innocent.

Sasha replied: “I do believe it. I know you’re innocent because it was me. I killed Stu.”

Demi later tweeted: “So guys… It was me… Awkward moment when you kill someone.”

Luke Mitchell, who plays Romeo Smith, recently explained that the killer’s confession would trigger a whole new mystery. He said: “Then it turns into the story about how it happened and what now happens to that person. Is it murder or an accident? And what happened on that night? There are a lot of possibilities.”

The Home and Away murder mystery is just beginning to unfold on UK screens on Channel 5.
