Actress Helen Flanagan left her fellow I’m A Celebrity campmates exasperated after failing to bring any stars back from her fourth consecutive Bushtucker trial.

The former Coronation Street star was seen teaming up with EastEnders actress Charlie Brooks in the latest trial, Come Dive With Me, on Friday night’s show.

The pair had to dive underwater and pick up stars with their teeth while surrounded by jungle critters in a bid to win meals for the camp – but while Charlie managed three, Helen was told her four stars did not count as she had picked them up with her hands.

“I think it’s because I panic so much, I forgot using my teeth,” she told presenters Ant and Dec afterwards. I did my best.

However Charlie was not happy and expressed her frustrations back at the camp afterwards, confiding in Eric Bristow.

“Just the silliness of it all just frustrates me. It’s like ‘you really need to get a grip sometimes’,” she said.

She also told the Bush Telegraph: “When you feel you have to walk on egg shells because you might say something that’s going to make somebody cry, it becomes a little bit intolerable to live with all the time. I find myself losing my patience.”

Elsewhere, there was tension between boxer David Haye and comedian Brian Conley after the boxer flicked two burning logs on to the jungle floor, sparking a row.

Brian ended up in tears and was consoled by Colin Baker before David admitted, “Maybe I’ve got to be a bit more sensitive…a bit more careful about what I say around him.”

The show continues on Saturday night at 9.20pm.
