Ex England and Chelsea defender Wayne Bridge is reportedly set to join Carol Vorderman and Danny Baker in I'm a Celebrity
Football star Wayne Bridge – husband of The Saturdays star Frankie Sandford – has signed up for I’m a Celebrity, according to reports.
The Sun says that the former England defender will be joining the likes of Carol Vorderman and Danny Baker in the jungle.
Wayne, 36, has two young children with singer Frankie, 27.
The Sun says that TV bosses are hoping he’ll talk about the alleged affair between ex-England captain John Terry and Wayne’s former partner, model Vanessa Perroncel, which hit the headlines in 2010.
A source was quoted as saying: “Wayne never really sought fame when he was a footballer so it’s surprising he agreed to go in the jungle.”
Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt, Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas and actor Larry Lamb are also thought to be taking part.
Nigel Farage has been linked to the show, but recently insisted he will not be appearing in the next series.
I’m a Celebrity 2016 premieres on ITV on Sunday, November 13
