Watch former This Life star Amita Dhiri make her debut in The Bill, playing hard as nails DC Grace Dasari.
Her character appears to be just the opposite of This Life's maudlin Milly: "Grace is quite a cool customer - not good at dealing with emotion, and always straight to the point - I'm looking forward to getting under her skin a bit," says Amita.
"I think she's going to shake things up a bit!"
DC Dasari initially joins Sun Hill on a six-month secondment - but her tough style leads her into conflict with colleagues...
