Big Brother: Animal magic wins hamper

The Big Brother housemates have won themselves yet another treat after Gerry and Brian successfully completed an animal-related task.

The pair were called into the Diary Room on Wednesday evening and told that one of them had to name an animal for each letter of the alphabet.

The other then had to make the corresponding animal noise.

Initially the pair were sceptical. "I don't know animals," complained Brian. "And I only learned the proper alphabet a year ago."

Nonetheless he was given the job of naming the creatures, while Gerry did the impersonations - and got right into the game, even cantering around the Diary Room whinnying like a horse at one point.

At the end of the task the pair were told they had won a hamper of goodies for the group, which included wine and beer.
