Home & Away's Chris starts work on Hollywood film

Former Home & Away heart throb Chris Hemsworth has landed the reel deal of a lifetime.
The soap star has started work on a Hollywood film, making the leap from television screen to Tinseltown in just two months.
Hemsworth, 23, will play a young man caught up in an illegal operation in revenge thriller The Cache. British actor Sean Bean is set to play the onscreen villain.
Hemsworth, who played Kim Hyde in the Summer Bay series for three years, only set his sights on a career in Los Angeles late last year.
His Sydney manager Mark Morrissey introduced his young charge to LA agents two months ago.
With visas and Actors' Equity work permits offically sorted out yesterday, the young hunk is now in pre-production with the film's director Steve Anderson.
Hemsworth left Australian TV screens in May, leaving a trail of heartbroken teenage fans in his wake.
His ex-girlfriend Isabel Lucas, who previously played Tasha Andrews in Home & Away, has also headed to LA. However, she has not yet attracted the same attention as her former beau.
