EastEnders over the Moons, for now

EastEnders fans keen to see Alfie and Spencer Moon back in Walford will be delighted to hear they're not alone - the actors are up for it too.

In a Teletext interview, Christopher Parker (Spencer) revealed how he and his former co-star Shane Richie often reminisce about their time on the soap.

However, the 23-year-old actor added: "It would have to be the right script and the right period of time. I wouldn't do it on a lengthy contract again."

Unfortunately, a spokesperson for the soap said there were no plans to bring either character back.

Christopher quit EastEnders in 2005, after three years. His on-screen brother, Alfie, left Albert Square in 2005, after an eventful stay.

Shane went on to take the lead role in ITV1 drama What We Did On Our Holiday. More recently, he lent his vocal talents to the big-screen movie Flushed Away.
