Christopher Eccleston's a hit with the Heroes

Heroes stars Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia have revealed they loved working with Christopher Eccleston on the show, because he brought a lot of humour.

Former Doctor Who star Chris is set to play mystery invisible man Claude in five future episodes of the hit series to be shown on BBC Two.

Milo, who plays flying hero Peter Petrelli, said: "He's a gentleman and he's a pro, and I often found times in scenes with him, where I was worried that I wasn't giving him as much as he was giving me as an actor, because he is that good."

Hayden, who plans teen cheerleader Claire Bennet, said: "Love him! It was a great thing to introduce his character.

"Our show can get very dramatic and in order to counter that, there'll be dry humour going on and he just brought the greatest humour to it that relieved the pressure of being overly dramatic.

"There's a scene between him and Peter that's so funny - you guys will really appreciate it."

Milo added that the show has received massive approval from a host of celebrity fans.

"I met Spider-Man Tobey Maguire and he said 'I'm a huge of your show' and I said 'you're Spider-Man!'

"It's flattering to know that your contemporaries are turned on by what you're doing," he said.
