The X Factor: Judges' categories revealed!

The X Factor judges have been assigned the categories they will mentor for the remainder of the series - but some are less than happy.

Louis Walsh, who said on Saturday's show that he did not want to be in charge of the 25 and overs, was shocked to discovery that he will be mentoring that very category - and grimaced as he was faced with the six semi-finalists.

"I'm not going to pretend I wanted this category - I didn't," he told the surprised looking group.

However, the other judges appeared to be happier with their categories. Simon will be looking after the groups. "We're going to win this show!" he told them.

Meanwhile Sharon was thrilled to have been given the girls aged 14-24. "I thought it was going to be those rotten groups," she told the delighted semi-finalists. And Dannii was equally pleased to discover she will be mentoring the boys aged 14-24.

"I've been wanting this group since the very beginning," she said.

The four groups will now travel to their mentors' homes for their final audition.

The boys will head to Dannii's home in Ibiza, the girls will join Sharon Osbourne in Los Angeles, the groups will audition at Simon's Marbella residence while the over 25s will go to Louis' house in Ireland.
