I'm A Celebrity: Cerys gets the chop

Rock singer Cerys Matthews became the eighth camper voted out of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The 34-year-old mum of two leapt into the air when Ant and Dec told her the news and screamed: "Yesss! I'm coming home!"

Her eviction means that 'J' Brown, Janice Dickinson and Christopher Biggins will contest the I'm A Celebrity final on Friday night.

In the post-vote interview, Cerys said: "I am so happy to go out now, I can get my children, get ready for the party, so thank you, thank you for not wanting me to stay!"

Cerys seemed very disappointed that her 'Tarzan' Marc Bannerman hadn't come back as planned. But commenting on their relationship, she said: "You forget everybody is watching... it's a bubble. We think we've had all these secret experiences... But duh-huh!"

She said it was nothing like what she expected: "It's not about the bugs... it's about being stipped of everything you're used to. So it's a voyage."
