X Factor: Leon tipped to top the charts

X Factor winner Leon Jackson is set to land the Christmas number one spot on Sunday with his debut single When You Believe.

The single is on course to sell 250,000 copies by Sunday - which is more than the rest of the top ten combined.

"Leon is selling incredibly well, particularly in Scotland and the North," said HMV spokesman Gennaro Castaldo.

"He's definitely on target to sell at least 250,000, possibly 300,000 copies, which will make it the fastest-selling single of the year."

Meanwhile, X Factor runner up Rhydian Roberts has revealed to the Mirror that he believes there is no love lost between him and mentor Dannii Minogue.

The operatic Welshman - who came second to Leon Jackson in last week's final, told the paper, "I genuinely don't think she likes me!"

"I adore her, she's lovely but I just don't think she gets me at all."

Rhydian admitted that he and Dannii "grew closer" as the competition progressed, "but she never liked me in the first place," he added.

"But there you go. People in life are always going to like you or hate you."
