Holby's Chrissie: 'How I hid my pregnancy' (VIDEO)

Holby City actress Tina Hobley has revealed that show bosses didn't know she was pregnant as she filmed violent scenes for an upcoming storyline.
In the graphic scenes, due to be shown on BBC1 in February, Tina's character Chrissie Williams is slashed across the face with a scalpel when a row with her current lover Stuart McElroy gets out of hand.
But Tina - who is currently on maternity leave from the show - told whatsontv.co.uk how she decided to hide her pregnancy from producers so that the scenes wouldn't be compromised.
"I didn't tell anyone I was pregnant when I was filming all the fight sequences," she admitted.
"It was very physical but I didn't want them to change anything - I wanted to keep it as real as possible and I was worried that if I told them I was pregnant they might not let me be thrown around quite so much."
