Doctor Who strips!

Doctor Who fans are in for a shock when David Tennant takes his clothes off for a new BBC One drama.

In Recovery, the actor plays a man who suffers brain injury in an accident and follows his journey as he tries to regain his personality.
The scene sees David and Cutting It star Sarah Parish, who plays his wife, as she shows him how to dress himself - both are naked, although just their backs are seen.

In the scene David grumbles: "We used to help each other take our clothes off."

The actor, who plays Alan Hamilton, is injured when he steps in front of a passing car, in the show which is due to be shown at the end of February. He is left in a deep coma, but comes round.

He said: "You can't imagine what it must be like to be married to someone who becomes a different human being.

"Our brain is our personality... our world. If that gets knocked a couple of degrees sideways you become fundamentally very different - I can't imagine what that might be like."

It's not the first time David has stripped - he's done it on stage
