Dusty's off to Vegas: Katy Setterfield is The One And Only winner

Dusty is The One And Only!

Saturday 16th February

Dusty Springfield impersonator Katy Setterfield has been crowned champion of BBC One's tribute act show The One and Only.

The 37-year-old beat Frank Sinatra tribute act Anthony Adams to the top prize of a performing contract in Vegas. Lionel Richie soundalike Moni Tivony finished third.

The other two acts in the final, Robbie Williams tribute Tony Lewis and Cher impersonator Joanna Berns were eliminated earlier in the evening.

The first half of the show saw the five finalists perform two songs each, while the three who remained in the second half each sang their favourite song from the series.

Tivony chose Lionel Richie's classic All Night Long, Setterfield opted for Dusty's You Don't Have To Say You Love Me, while Adams rounded things off with a rousing rendition of New York New York.

Tivony had been favourite to win the show ahead of Setterfield, and he initially impressed judges Carrie and David Grant in the early part of the final. However they had reservations about his final performance

Setterfield, however, wowed the pair with her trio of songs.

Carrie described her final performance as "world class" while David said she was "fantastic. You would fit in in Vegas," he concluded.

"You moved, you sounded like Dusty Springfield at that period in her career...that was a quality performance."
