Jason Donovan blasts Echo Beach producer (AUDIO)

Echo Beach star Jason Donovan has let loose with an extraordinary outburst against the show's producer Jonathan Pope.

The former Neighbours and West End star plays Dan Marrack in the new ITV1 soap and he has been caught slagging off the controversial producer, who features in ITV1 show Moving Wallpaper.

His litany of bleeped complaints against Pope includes the way the producer greets Donovan in a bad Australian accent and continually asks him how Kylie is doing. He then proceeds to criticise his co-star Martine McCutcheon for her diva behaviour.

It should be pointed out that Donovan's phone was taped for the spoof insider show The Mole and that Pope is a fictional creation played by Ben Miller. But don't let that spoil the fun.
