Heartbeat is back on ITV1 on Easter Sunday and, to mark the return of the hit nostalgic drama, TV Times took some of the core cast to Liverpool's legendary Cavern Club, where the Beatles first made their name.

Our sister mag spent two, er, hard day's nights with the show's stars, Lisa Kay (Carol Cassidy), Joe McFadden (Pc Joe Mason), Rupert Ward-Lewis (Pc Don Wetherby), Tricia Penrose (Gina Bellamy) and Steven Blakeley (Pc Geoff Younger).

Dressed for the part, The Fab Five slipped a classic Beatles album on the stereo and, then, as you can see, got into the spirit of the time.

As Lisa said: "The Beatles will NEVER go out of fashion."

You can read the whole story in this week's issue of TV Times.
