Anthony Head: 'We're just two actors' (VIDEO)

Actor Anthony Head might star with real-life daughter Emily in The Invisibles - but he insists she's no daddy's girl on set.

Anthony plays crook Maurice Riley in the new BBC1 comedy drama - and 19-year-old Emily plays his daughter Grace.

But Emily is quick to point out that she didn't land the role because of her famous father.

She said: "I read a scene and then two days later they called me and asked me to come and do it. Both the director and the writer said they had no idea I was [Anthony's] daughter until I arrived."

Anthony added: "It was a complete surprise when they said 'oh, by the way, Emily's playing your daughter."

So, does Daddy give her any tips?

Anthony said: "If there's anything I can help her with then I'll step up to the plate. But, in terms of this, we're just two actors."

The Invisibles starts on Thursday May 1 at 9pm on BBC1.
