Ex-EastEnders star James Alexandrou is to make his West End debut in a play set on the day of the July 7 bombings.
The 23-year-old, who played Martin Fowler in the soap, will appear in In My Name alongside fellow ex-EastEnder Ray Panthaki, who played Ronny Ferreira in EastEnders for two years.
The comedy is centred on three supermarket workers who start a night of drinking at their flat on the day London was attacked by suicide bombers in 2005.
The play, which will run between July 1-19 at London's Trafalgar Studios, transfers to the West End following a sold-out run at the Old Red Lion Theatre in Islington.
Alexandrou left EastEnders with onscreen wife Sonia, played by Natalie Cassidy, in February 2007 after playing barrowboy Martin for 10 years.
Cassidy is also currently treading the boards - in Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard, at the Chichester Festival Theatre.
