Coronation Street star Antony Cotton has reportedly signed a big new deal with ITV, consisting of a two-year stint on the soap plus another project.
Antony's become a staple of the show playing gay machinist/barman Sean Tully - and ITV bosses agree. They've offered him an improved deal on his current 120,000 pounds a year, plus another project of his own, according to The Sun.
Details of the deal are under wraps, but Antony said: "I look forward to some exciting new storylines in the Street and developing future programme ideas with ITV."
An ITV source said: "He's done well with his talk show. Now we want him to try his hand at something different.
"A new gameshow is a big possibility."
