I'd Do Anything: Samantha finishes third!

Teenager Samantha Barks has finished third in the final of BBC1's I'd Do Anything, missing out on the chance to star in Oliver! in the West End.

The 17-year-old, from the Isle Of Man, lost out to fellow finalists Jodie Prenger and Jessie Buckley after finishing last in the public vote.

Jodie and Jessie will now fight it out for the chance to play Nancy in the new West End production of the classic musical.

Samantha said the experience of appearing on the show had been "amazing".

"I want to thank the panel for making it so incredible," she told presenter Graham Norton.

Saturday's final saw each of the three remaining contenders perform a solo number as well as each performing a duet with one of the three boys chosen to play Oliver on last week's show.

The winner will be announced later on Saturday evening.
