'Merlin's bringing the pudding bowl back!' (VIDEO)

Merlin star Colin Morgan says his character in the new BBC1 series will do for the pudding bowl what Posh has done for the Pixie cut.

The 22-year-old Northern Irishman lightheartedly told whatsontv.co.uk: "Without a doubt the bowl is back... Merlin is bringing the bowl back!"

He predicts fans will start with the pudding bowl and then adjust their hairstyles as Merlin adjusts his to the situations that develop in the BBC1 series.

The 13-part fantasy series begins on BBC1 on Saturday, September 20.
